Who We Are
Over its seven years in existence, the online 3rd ID unit has become a pivotal and influential force as a tactical realism unit within this gaming community. Founded by a group of 3rd ID WWII re-enactors in Florida back in early February of 2001, the 3rd has always had deep roots in both history and realism. The online 3rd ID started serving in the gaming community back when Day of Defeat was only a beta. We progressed into Call of Duty, United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2. Today, we are a Modern Combat unit operating in Call of Duty 4. It is our goal to honor the great history of the 3rd Division, past and present; we strive to honor the entire American fighting force though our dedication to realism. Rock of the Marne! Nous Resterons La!
Why are we doing this?
The 3rd Infantry Division has always strived to bring Tactical Combat Realism to the highest degree to every game we play, while maintaining a constant fun atmosphere in-game.
