[edit] Purpose

This program is designed to lock-in potential recruits for later enlistment into the 3rd Infantry Division. The United States Army employs the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) for men or women joining the service. The individual is required to check-in on a weekly basis for processing into the armed services, but is in no way obligated to continue with the enlistment process. The RTP is a method of keeping individuals, who are genuinely interested in the 3rd Infantry Division, closer to the unit, making it less likely for them to stray if they are enlisting between training cycles.

[edit] Design

The naming convention to be used by the RTP is as follows:

  • Rct. Doe

The “Rct.” prefix is not a rank, but a designation. A member of the RTP is not a member of the 3rd Infantry Division, but is required to conform with the surname naming convention standard, i.e. no Rct. H4x0r.

[edit] An individual participating in the RTP will

  • Abide by the Rules and Regulations at all times.
  • Not have sufficient access-rights to the 3rd Infantry Division locked forums.
  • Be permitted to participate in [3rd ID] vs. ALL scrimmages as a member of the allied fighting force.
  • Be given the opportunity to become acquainted with the Chain of Command and how it operates. They will be required to salute officers, and render the proper respect to non-commissioned officers.
  • Have propaganda materials provided to them by the 3rd Infantry Division. This includes, but is not limited to, in-game videos of CORD, Scrimmage/Match audio recordings, or demos of various engagements. The reason for this is to keep the individual’s interest in what the 3rd Infantry Division has to offer them, if they decide to continue with the enlistment process.

[edit] Individual Requirements for Entry

To enroll in the RTP an individual must have completed the following tasks before entry into the RTP is to be accepted:

  • Ten hours of combined Teamspeak or server time. Idling is not to advance the total amount to avoid falsified enrollment into the RTP.
  • Must read and understand the Rules and Regulations section of the unit website.
  • Must be able to treat fellow soldiers with dignity and respect.
  • The use of proper English must be displayed at all times on the forums, and in the game.

[edit] Disciplinary Guidelines for COC

If a member of the RTP is disruptive, or is not cut out for service with the 3rd Infantry Division, they shall be removed with or without an explanation. There are no appeal procedures at this time for RTP members to retain their membership if a disciplinary infraction occurs.

[edit] Important Guidelines for COC

A person who enrolls in the RTP reserves the right to self-discharge. Officers and NCOs will not pressure a potential recruit, as he or she is not required to follow orders, attend drills, scrimmages, matches, or other unit functions. RTP members are not members of the 3rd Infantry Division, and the Chain of Command reserves the right to remove members of the RTP without cause, or explanation. Members of the RTP who are removed without notice, or leave on the terms of self-discharge, are not to be added to any past-member listings, or to be included in services held for past-members.

[edit] Further Notes

The 3rd Infantry Division should be required to record all authorized entry into the RTP via the forums. A sticky post on the Recruitment Board should have an up-to date publicly accessible listing of all RTP members, and their current status for enrollment. Propaganda (Photoshop) pictures should be displayed on the main index for the unit website stating that the 3rd Infantry Division is now accepting RTP applicants.

A link from the image should point to a forum post explaining the procedures needed to enroll in the program. There should be no exceptions to any rules set forth in this document. All applicants must complete all pre-requisites before becoming considered for the program.
