The Third Infantry Division has had many a server provider in its 6 year tour of duty.

Day of Defeat

Cpl. Bird Ran the first notable server run on behalf of the Third. It saw many versions of the mod during its operation. Notable mention of the presence of his havoc wreaking brother.

As the Division progressed the need for more space increased alongside it. The Third expanded it's HQ to support a server dedicated to drills. This was seen as a way to cease interrupting a well established public base on the main server. The simple problem of cost compounded with the loss of Cpl. Bird's server soon left the Division without a server to call their own.

PFC Lula Ran a temporary server while a main server was unavailable.

1Lt. Hunkeler Rented a dedicated server from Rackforce in Canada for approximately a four month period.

Call of Duty

With the introduction of Call of Duty to the battlefield, the unit made the decision to move to the new game. During the transition the unit was once again without an HQ.

Cpl. Lula Hosted another temporary server while a main server was investigated.

Sgt. Sanderson Took an active role in server administration in order to provide uninterrupted administration.

The growth of the MP corps led the expansion of server administration to be a more widespread ability within the unit.

Call of Duty: UO

Cpl. Lula / MP Corps Began the CoD:UO campaign in a similar model to the one founded in CoD.

The introduction of the United Offensive expansion pack put the growing community into a new level of expansion and as such the unit began to recover it's ranks the unit once again. It soon yearned for a second server to be able to utilize for separate drills. This endeavor was successful for a limited time until due to financial reasons the unit was once again forced to reduce their HQ to a singular server.

Call of Duty 2

Lt. Donovan Took the role of primary server administrator and provided much time and effort to the unit.

The unit has since run on a singular server during its tenor in Call of Duty 2. The job of server administrator has since moved from a singular job to one maintained by higher level Non-Comms and the Command Staff.
