1Lt. Hunkeler began playing the song "Down With The Sickness" performed by Richard Cheese during the year 2004; for a job well done, or a simple defeat, the song would be played regardless. In rare cases the song would be broadcast over TeamSpeak prior to an event in hopes of raising the morale of the men. The song became a regular tradition after a short period of time, in which others would broadcast it in the absence of Hunkeler.

T/Sgt. Cooke (Retired) handled the duties of ensuring that the song was played at the appropriate times. A new bearer of the song has yet to step forth.
